Walk Without Fear was granted charitable status by the Department of Internal Affairs (DIA) in 2023. Their registration number is CC61650. Their official mandate is: To promote awareness of the devastating consequences of “one punch” attacks and other forms of social violence on the victims and their families.

The people of the charity are a diverse group of friends, martial artists, and everyday Kiwis united by a common goal: to build a country free from social violence. Many of them have directly experienced or witnessed the harm caused by such violence, and we refuse to stand by in silence.
